Create, price, and purchase custom perforated metal imagery. Petersen Automotive Museum
The Petersen Automotive Museum includes a perforated screen wall system attached to the parking structure. This project used the Design Support team to develop a custom exterior. The perforated imagery continues the visual trajectory of the Museum's ZEPPS® Ribbon assemblies which wrap the facade. The architects original imagery was exported as an image dithered as perforated metal to continue the design of the Museum's iconic ribbons across the surface of its screen wall facade.

Herzog & de Meuron developed the idea of a variably perforated screen exterior which would mirror the green foliage and forestry of the surrounding Golden Gate Park, San Francisco's central park. The architects worked with ImageWall Design Support to develop a system which would allow unique perforation and patterned dimples, variably sized and placed throughout the exterior. This included over 8000 unique panels whose collective whole formed the pattern of light through trees.
Working with architects Potter Lawson, the team produced a perforated metal system for the interior office space in Wisconsin. The surface of the perforated metal is a custom Dirty Penny™ patina on Copper. The mesh screen wall is backlit using LED lights for dramatic effect.
Between Leong Leong's shimmering titanium-coated stainless steel facade, and IwamotoScott's undulating generative aluminum facade, lies a permanent John Baldessari art installation. This massive canvas of stainless steel is created by circular perforations removed from its surface. Baldessari's vision was created using Zahner's ImageWall patented systems, which process the artist's imagery as a decorative perforated panel system.
Using the ImageWall App, architects at Luce et Studio were able to create a dancing image across the boutique store of Laura Gambucci in La Jolla, California. The designers used the ImageWall App and worked with ImageWall Design Support to make minor adjustments to allow for backlit panels.
LSE Architects worked with ImageWall Design Support to create a design for the signage that not only stated the title of the community center but also related to the surrounding area. LSE Architects used the meandering Mississippi River from a birds-eye view and overlapped several sections of it with the street layout of the city itself.
Using the ImageWall System, Davis Partnership Architects were able to quickly iterate through designs. Although the App is designed for interiors, the designers worked with ImageWall Design Support to develop their project as an exterior system for the Okie Blanchard Sports Complex at East Highschool in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
